VMS Audio Update - Episode #19 - Special "Endeavour" Edition (Part 3/4)

This episode contains the third part of an interview with Nina Buik, President of Encompass, and various bootcamp presenters talk about their sessions.

This is the third episode of a four (4) part exclusive interview with Nina Buik (President of Encompass US) detailing the consolidation of HP's primary user group communities, code named "Endeavour".

In this part Nina talks about using Social Networking to build the Community

1. What is the value of social networking?
2. Endeavour’s plans for using social networking to enhance networking; discuss implementation and timing of new tools
3 How will this benefit users?
5. How this will attract a new generation of user group members?

Part one of the interview was in VAU #17 and part two was in VAU #18

Sponsored by PointSecure, the leading provider of security and auditing solutions for OpenVMS systems. Their solutions help protect OpenVMS systems from external and internal security threats while also ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and governmental regulations such as Sarbanes Oxley or HIPAA.

If you'd like to reach people that are interested in VMS, you can sponsor the audio update. If you have a product that is of interest to the VMS community, we'd like to hear from you. If you can do a four to eight minute instructional session on how your product will enhance the lives of those of us who use VMS, mores the better.

Also in this episode Sue Skonetski, Leo Demmers, Kurt Spake, Brad McCusker, Brian Holland, Hein van der Heuvel, Stephen Hoff Hoffman, and John Fisher talk about Bootcamp and what is going to be in their sessions.
